How to Install Pixelmon using the Technic Launcher

The Technic Launcher has been around almost as long as Minecraft itself and is a straightforward way to install and play modded Minecraft, including Pixelmon. It offers a simple setup process with access to pre-built modpacks that make getting started quick and easy. This guide will walk you through installing Pixelmon using the Technic launcher.

Setting Up the Launcher

1. Download and install the Technic launcher. You can find this here: https://www.technicpack.net/download

2. Once installed, open the Technic launcher. Click Add Microsoft Account and log in with the Microsoft account where you own Minecraft.

3. After logging in, return to the Technic launcher and click Modpacks at the top.

4. Enter The Pixelmon Mod in the Search box in the upper left, then hit Enter to search through the different modpacks. This is the modpack you’re looking for:

   

5. Click Install in the lower right and Technic launcher will begin downloading and installing the necessary files.

6. Once it’s done, click Play and the launcher will open Minecraft with Pixelmon installed, as well as a few extra visual mods.
