How to Customize your GameID for your Core Keeper Server

Have you ever wondered if you could customize your GameID for your Core Keeper server? Well, you absolutely can and here is how in two ways:

Just a friendly reminder to have your server offline anytime you’re making changes to the server.

1. Locate the Server Files in the following directory: /DedicatedServer/ServerConfig.json and select Edit to change the GameID. Once finished hit Save to confirm your changes.

Editing Game ID in the Game Settings Modify “gameId” with your respectable new GameID following these guidelines:

1. GameID must have a minimum of 28 characters
2. Character 0 cannot be used
3. Avoid punctuation in your GameID
Make sure to select Save and Restart your server!
