Adding a Password to Your Valheim Server

This article will guide you through the process of adding a password to your Valheim server.

NodePanel

On the left hand side of your Control Panel, select the "Game Settings" section. Enter in your chosen password into the "Password" text box field.

Save your changes and Restart your server. It's that easy!

Startup Argument

If you don't have access to our NodePanel, you will need to add your password as a startup argument. You will add the argument:

-password "Your desired password"

Be sure to Restart your server after adding in the startup argument!
