Adding a Password to Your Valheim Server

This article will guide you through the process of adding a password to your Valheim server.

Using the Nodecraft Pro Panel

On the left-hand side of the panel, select the "Game Settings" tab. Enter your chosen password into the "Password" text box field.

We have provided a randomly generated password for every Valheim server, that you can use if you wish.

Save your changes and Restart your server. It's that easy!

Using a Startup Argument

If you don't have access to the Nodecraft Pro panel, you will need to add your password as a startup argument. You will add the argument:

-password "Your desired password"

Be sure to Restart your server after adding in the startup argument!
