How to Enable & Disable The End on Your Minecraft Server
This guide will walk you through the process enabling or disabling The End on your server. This process only applies to Spigot/Paper based servers. There are no direct settings on Vanilla minecraft to disable The End.
Note: Be sure that your Minecraft server is fully shut down before proceeding!
Use the Control Panel
Open your Nodecraft Dashboard
Click on Panel.
Note: If you are on a Lite server you may need to wake it first before the panel option is available.
Locate the Game Settings section located on your sidebar.
Select Spigot Settings.
Once on the Spigot Settings page, near the end of the General Settings section you will see the Allow End setting.
Toggle the setting Off to disable The End or On to enable The End.
Once your change has been made click the Submit button which is located at the bottom of the page.
Use the server.properties file
Open your Nodecraft Dashboard
Click on Panel.
Note: If you are on a Lite server you may need to wake it first before the panel option is available.
Once on your panel, locate the Server Files section located on your sidebar.
Once on the Server Files page, look in the larger box on the right-hand side of your screen and locate the “bukkit.yml” file. Click on the file to select it then click Edit in the upper left corner of the server file section.
Once the file is open in the editor, find the line “allow-end: true” under the settings section in the file. If you want to disable The End, change “true” to “false”. Likewise to enable it again change “false” to “true”.
Click the green Save Changes button near the upper right side of your screen.
Once you have completed and saved the changes you can start your server. You have now Enabled/DIsabled The End on your server.
