How to Upload your Existing World for Soulmask

Soulmask Save File Locations

Managing your Soulmask server effectively requires knowledge of where the game stores the game save files and how to transfer them between your computer and server hosting platforms. Below are the locations for both the world save file and the gameplay settings file for a dedicated server and a local Windows PC.

Dedicated Server

  • Gameplay Settings: /WS/Saved/GameplaySettings/GameXishu.json

  • World Save File: /WS/Saved/Worlds/Dedicated/Level01_Main/world.db

Local Windows PC

For local saves, the files are stored in the AppData folder under your Steam ID and game invitation code:

  • Gameplay Settings: C:\Users\(PCname)\AppData\Local\WS\(SteamID)\2646460\AutoGames\(Game Invite Code)\GameXishu.json

  • World Save File: C:\Users\(PCname)\AppData\Local\WS\(SteamID)\2646460\AutoGames\(Game Invite Code)\world.db

Transferring Your Soulmask Save to a Server

Follow these steps to transfer your save files from a local game or another server to your Soulmask server on Nodecraft:

  1. Stop your Soulmask server fully. This prevents any data from overwriting.

  2. Locate the db file and json file from your old server. Refer back to the directories provided in the Soulmask Save File Locations for the exact locations file locations if needed.

    • world.db
(This db file contains your world data.)

    • The latest GameXishu.json file.
(This json file contains your game's settings.)

Note: If you see a json file namedGameXishu_2.json, rename it to GameXishu.json.

  3. Navigate to the following directories in the Server Files tab within the Nodecraft Pro panel:

    • /WS/Saved/GameplaySettings/
The game settings folder location for a Soulmask server

    • /WS/Saved/Worlds/Dedicated/Level01_Main/
The world folder location for a Soulmask server

Note: If these folders don’t exist, you can manually create them or start and stop the server to generate the directories automatically.

  4. Replace or delete the existing files in both directories if you don’t wish to save them. If you want to save a backup of the original files on your dedicated server, download and store them locally before uploading.

  5. Upload the db file and json file you downloaded from your old server to their corresponding directories.
