Palworld’s newest update expanded the map in a big way. Seven new islands have surfaced, each with their own surprises. From waterfalls to wreckage, all the way to the ice, these new locations give us (and you!) plenty to explore. Here’s everything you need to know about finding each island and what to expect once you arrive.
Sealed Realm of Terraria
This island holds the powerful Moon Lord raid boss and features a unique dungeon styled after Terraria. The terrain is classic and clean, with a waterfall marking its surface, but the real action is inside. There are no oil nodes here, but it’s a must-visit for any player looking to take on the new raid.
Coordinates: -423, -796
How to get there: Head southeast from Fisherman’s Point or directly south from Ancient Civilization Ruins.
Oasis Isle
A literal oasis tucked within the desert, this island has a split-level design with a waterfall and six oil nodes, three on the bottom level and three on top. It’s a strong spot for setting up an oil farm while enjoying a warm and open environment.
Coordinates: 885, 196
How to get there: Travel southeast from the PIDF Tower Entrance or northeast from the Arena Entrance.
Frostbitten Isle
This glacial island sits far out in the ocean, requiring a longer swim compared to others. It’s located well south of the main continent and is surrounded by cold waters.
Coordinates: -80, -946
How to get there: Swim directly south from Sea Breeze Archipelago - Castaway Beach, or head southeast from the Sealed Realm of Terraria if you’ve unlocked the fast travel.
Sunlit Isle
A bright and green island with a classic landscape style, Sunlit Isle includes a waterfall and six oil nodes, three placed near the shore and three further inland. It’s a solid pick for mid-game farming or building.
Coordinates: 386, -462
How to get there: Go southwest from Marsh Island or west from Plateau of Beginnings.
Isle of Decayed Treasures
This broken-down island features a ruined environment with scattered treasure chests. While it shares a similar design to Phantom Isle, it stands apart with its location near early-game areas, making it an easy place to loot quickly.
Coordinates: 610, -162
How to get there: Southeast of Eastern Wild Island and very close to shore.
Isle of the Glacial Core
True to its name, this island is entirely made of ice. It stands out clearly on the map with its solid white and frigid terrain.
Coordinates: 141, 637
How to get there: Move northeast from the Pal Genetic Research Unit or northwest from the Deep Sand Dunes.
Phantom Isle
This shipwreck-themed island is covered in wooden ruins and sunken remains. Treasure chests are scattered across the wreckage, offering plenty of loot for players willing to explore every corner.
Coordinates: -886, -187
How to get there: Travel west from the Ruined Fortress City fast travel point.
Conclusion
These new islands add a lot to the game, from valuable oil spots to potential base locations and even a massive new boss fight. Some are perfect for setting up camp, others are packed with loot or resources worth the trip.
