How to Join Your Abiotic Factor Server

Ready to jump into your Abiotic Factor server? This guide walks you through both ways to connect: using the in-game server browser or direct connect through Steam. Just follow the steps to find your server, hit join, and get back to the chaos.

Note: Ensure your Abiotic Factor server is fully online before attempting to join!

Using the In‑Game Server Browser

1. Launch Abiotic Factor.

2. Click Enter the Facility, then select Join a Server.

   

3. Type part or all of your server’s name into the Search bar at the top.

   

4. Make sure Show Dedicated is toggled on to include dedicated servers in the results.

5. Click the Refresh icon and wait a moment for the search results to populate.

6. Click your server when it appears in the list, then click Join.

7. If prompted, enter your server password and click Confirm.

8. The game will connect to your server and you’ll enter the session.

Using Direct Connect via Steam

1. Open Steam and select View → Servers from the top menu.

   

2. Switch to the Favorites tab.

   

3. Click the + Add a server button.

4. Enter your server’s IP and port using the format IP:Port (e.g., 123.45.67.89:7777) and click OK.

5. Highlight your server in the Favorites list and click Connect.

   

6. If required, enter the server password when prompted.

7. Steam will launch Abiotic Factor and directly connect you to the server.
