How to Add Admins to your RedM Server

A well-managed RedM server relies on admins to enforce rules, handle player disputes, and keep things running smoothly. Giving trusted players admin access ensures your server stays organized and provides a better experience for everyone. This guide will walk you through the process of adding admins using the Nodecraft control panel and txAdmin, making it easy to set up the right permissions for your team.

Using the Control Panel

Note: If using Steam identifiers, a Steam Web API Key is required. Follow this guide to set up a Steam Web API Key.

🛑 If you prefer to use the Control Panel instead of txAdmin, ensure txAdmin is disabled.

  1. Navigate to the Players tab in your server panel.

  2. Select the Admins tab.

  3. Click the Green Plus (+) icon to add a new admin.

  4. Choose the desired identifier for the new admin.

Using txAdmin

Note: If you haven't enabled txAdmin yet, follow our guide here!

  1. Log in to the txAdmin panel.

  2. Navigate to the Admins tab.

  3. Click the Add button.

  5. Configure the permissions that you want this player to have.

  6. Click Save.

  7. Once your changes are saved, you will see an Admin Saved! screen. Copy the temporary password provided.

  8. Click Close & Refresh

  9. Share the temporary password with the player who was assigned admin permissions.

When they log into txAdmin for the first time, they will be prompted to set a new password for their admin account.

Note: We recommend entering a RedM Identifier or Discord Identifier for addition authentication!

Edit or Delete an Admin

  1. Log in to your txAdmin panel.

  2. Navigate to the Admins tab.

  3. Locate the Admin that you would like to edit or delete.

  4. Click the desired option under the Actions column.

  5. Follow the prompts as required.
