How to Join your Aloft Server

Aloft, a breathtaking survival game set in the skies, allows you to build, explore, and thrive with friends. After creating your Aloft server, the next step is joining it to begin your adventure. If you’re hosting the server or have been invited to one, this guide provides the foundational information you need to soar into the clouds together.

Locate your Friend Code or Server Name

There are two ways to join your Aloft server, which are dependent on if you've set the server to be public or private. It is defaulted to public.

• If private, locate your server Friend Code on the Overview page of your servers Pro Panel.

  

• If public, locate the name you've given the server in your server control settings.

  

Make sure your game server is fully online. Once the server panel turns green and says Server Online, it will be joinable!

Joining Your Server

1. Open your Aloft game and navigate to the main menu.

2. If you haven't already, Create a Character in order to unlock the Multiplayer section.

   

3. Once you have a character, select Multiplayer from the menu options.

4. Click Join Game.

5. To locate your public server, ensure that the Server Region is set to the region your server is located in. You should then be able to locate your server in the available server list.
   

6. If your server is Private, enter the Friend Code, that is located in the servers Pro Panel.
   

7. Click Join Game.

8. That's it! You're ready for takeoff.
