How to Add an Existing Map to your Astroneer Server

Do you have a save you want to add to your Astroneer dedicated server, but you aren't sure how? In this guide we will show you how you can upload your existing map to your Astroneer server using the Nodecraft Pro Panel.

Uploading Your Existing Map

Note: We recommend fully stopping your Astroneer server before making any uploads or configuration changes.

To upload your existing Astroneer world, you will need to locate the world’s .savesame file on your PC, or client side. This file contains the data for your world.

  1. Start Astroneer through Steam.

  2. On the SOLO tab, locate the name of the saved world you would like to upload to your server. Take note of this name!

Note: Use Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog, then enter the above directory path. Replace <User> with your actual PC username.

  4. In the SaveGames folder, find the saved world file that matches the name you took note of earlier.
