How to Join Your Core Keeper Server
Unlike many other games, Core Keeper uses a unique GameID instead of an IP address to connect to your server! This GameID is generated when you first start your dedicated server and you can find the GameID in three locations of the Nodecraft Pro Panel. Let's get started!
The Console
Log into the Nodecraft Pro Panel for your Core Keeper server.
Click on Console on the left-hand side.
The GameID will be shown in your server console when it is starting. You can copy it directly from there.
The Config Files
The GameID can also be found in the ServerConfig.json
file located in the Server Files section of the panel.
Log into the Nodecraft Pro Panel for your Core Keeper server.
Click on Server Files on the left-hand side.
Navigate to the following server file directory:
DedicatedServer/ServerConfig.json
Tick the box next to the file, then click the Edit option to open the file!
The Game Settings
Finally, the last location the GameID can be found is in the Game Settings of the panel, within the "Basic" tab.
Log into the Nodecraft Pro Panel for your Core Keeper server.
Click on Game Settings on the left-hand side.
On the Basic tab, you should see a "Game ID" field.
Join Your Core Keeper Server
Copy the GameID from one of the locations above.
Launch Core Keeper from your computer.
Click Join Game.
Paste the GameID into the available text box.
Click Join.
After connecting, you can jump in with an existing character or create a new one to explore. Next time you join, use the in-game dropdown to easily select your server from the connection history. Now, get ready to dig, craft, and conquer the depths of your Core Keeper dedicated server like a pro!
