How to Force Downloading of Addons on your Garry's Mod Server

This article will show you how to setup your Garry's Mod server so that players who join will automatically start downloading the same Steam Workshop addons that you have added to your Workshop Collection on the server. This will help fix issues with missing textures, models, or broken features!

While you can do this manually, in this article we'll be recommending that you use an addon to do this for you. Below are some of the ones that we personally use for our Garry's Mod servers!

Note: Be sure that your Garry's Mod server is fully stopped before making any configuration changes or setting updates!

Installing through the Steam Workshop

1. Navigate to your Nodecraft dashboard.

2. Click the Panel button for your Garry's Mod server.

3. Stop your server.

4. Add the workshop download addon of your choice to the Steam Collection that is installed onto your server. The link to it can be found here.

5. Start your server.
