How to Set a Server Password for your Arma Reforger Server
Arma Reforger servers let admins control access with a whitelist or a server password. Whitelists restrict entry to approved users, while server passwords allow access to anyone who knows them, which is ideal for private sessions with friends or custom scenarios run by game masters.
Note: Always stop your Arma Reforger server before making changes. If the server is online, any changes made will not take effect.
Setting a Password
Open your Arma Reforger instance panel.
Navigate to the Game Settings tab.
Enter your desired server password in the appropriate field.
4. Click Submit to save changes.
5. Start your server.
Troubleshooting
If the server isn’t prompting for a password:
Make sure the server was offline when the change was made.
Verify the password is correctly entered in the
config.jsonfile or the Game Settings tab.
