When Does my Nodecraft Lite Server Shut Down?
Nodecraft Lite Servers are designed to save you money and reduce unnecessary server usage by turning off when they’re not in use. This unique functionality ensures that resources are conserved without interrupting your gaming experience. Here’s everything you need to know about when and how your Nodecraft Lite Server shuts down.
Automatic Shutdown After Inactivity
30 Minutes of Inactivity
If no players are actively online, the server will automatically shut down after 30 minutes of inactivity. This helps conserve energy and reduce costs.
Transition to Cold Storage
Additional 30 Minutes
If the server remains off for another 30 minutes after shutting down, it will begin to take a backup to Prepare for Hibernation.
Once this process is completed, it will be moved into cold storage. While in cold storage, the server data is safe and secure, but it may take 1-2 minutes to restore the server when started again. This process ensures that inactive servers don’t take up unnecessary resources while remaining ready for future use.
Starting Your Server Again
Using the Share Link
You or anyone with the secure Share Link and password can start the server instantly.
Via the Control Panel
The server can also be started quickly through the Nodecraft Pro Panel.
Once your server is online, it will be displayed in the status!
Note: Keep in mind that when a server is started from cold storage, its numerical IP address may change, and it may take 1-2 minutes to fully start as it is being restored. If you’ve set up a hostname, it will remain unchanged!
