How to Use FiveM Recipes
A FiveM recipe is a server template with predefined frameworks, resources, and settings. Recipes are community-created, so as with all FiveM resources, upload custom recipes at your own risk. We've included the most popular recipes in our Recipe Manager as well as a custom option. Read more about recipes and how to use them below.
Terminology
To understand FiveM Server customization, there are a few definitions that you need to be familiar with.
Recipe: a server template that automatically installs predefined frameworks, resources, scripts, and settings.
Framework: A FiveM framework is a foundational structure that simplifies the creation of resources for your FiveM server. It offers a basic structure for your scripts, eliminating the need to build everything from scratch. Popular Frameworks are included in the Recipes in Nodecraft's Recipe Manager, and you can find others to install yourself in the FiveM Releases section of Rockstar's Cfx.re website.
Resources: Resources can be used to add functionality to your FiveM server, you can find many of the available resources in Nodecraft's FiveM Resource Manager.
Resources can be created by anyone, so take care when installing any that are not officially authored by Cfx.re and use them at your own risk.
Some resources may be paid. If you decide to pay for a resource, do first please contact the seller and ask them if theyβre selling the resource via Tebex to avoid scams. Nodecraft and FiveM do not hold themselves accountable for Paid Resources, and you should be diligent/careful before purchasing anything online.

Install Recipes from Your Control Panel
It is essential to know that installing a Recipe requires wiping all current server files and any existing data in your Nodecraft MySQL database files, so this should be the first step you take when setting up a server.
Go to the control panel for your Nodecraft FiveM server.
Click on the Recipes tab located in the Resources section of the toolbar.
Select the recipe that you would like to use and click the Install button.
Now you're able to review the resources the recipe installed onto your server and enable or disable them as you'd like! You can manage the resources by navigating to the Resources tab located on the left toolbar.
Clicking on the Directory link attached to each resource will open applicable file folders in the control panel's Server Files and you can directly edit the resource files.
Custom Recipes
You do have the option to use a Custom recipe! By selecting the Custom option available in the Recipes section of the control panel, you will be able to paste in a recipe YAML file and we will parse and run it.
MySQL Database
There is no need to deal with Database setup for recipes in the recipe installer because Nodecraft handles it all for you. To access your database, go to the Databases of your Nodecraft server control panel.
Install Recipes with txAdmin
Recipes were created by txAdmin, and have been the best and easiest way to set up a FiveM server. If you are using the txAdmin server control panel, it will immediately walk you through choosing a recipe and setting up any necessary databases on your PC during the onboarding process.
If you're looking for assistance with Enabling txAdmin or the Setting up txAdmin, we have you covered there too!
