How to Kick/Ban players in your The Forest server

As admin of your The Forest server you can kick and ban players from your dedicated server. There are two ways to ban and kick players from your server and in this short guide we will show you how.

Using the Player List

First, connect to your server as an Administrator. You will input the admin password for your server into the admin password box when joining the server.

If you're not an administrator or unsure if you are on your server, please refer to our article on setting up admin for your The Forest server:
Then, press Tab and you will see the Kick or Ban button next to the player's name.
Select Kick or Ban to the respective player you want to remove from the server.

Using Commands

As the Administrator you can kick, ban, or unban certain players by ending the /kick, /ban, or /unban command followed by that player's Steam ID.

Once again, connect to your server via as an Administrator.
Joining The Forest server as admin Then, press the Enter key to then enter either the /kick, /ban, or /unban command followed by the respective player's Steam ID.
