Changing Language and Location Settings (Flags) in FiveM
Setting your server’s language makes it easier for players to navigate and enjoy the game in their preferred language. This guide covers two simple ways to update it—through the Nodecraft Control Panel or by adjusting the settings manually. Let's get started!
Using your Control Panel
Note: Be sure that your FiveM server is fully stopped before making any configuration changes or setting updates!
Navigate to the Game Settings tab within your FiveM server’s control panel.
Click on the Server Listing tab to access server configuration options.
Scroll down to the Language setting.
Use the dropdown menu to select your preferred language/location.
Press the Submit button to save your changes.
Start your server to apply the new language settings.
Manual Configuration
Navigate to the Server Files tab on the left side of your control panel.
Select the
nodecraft_config.cfg
file and click Edit to the top left.Find the line that says
sets locale
. Inside the quotation marks, enter your desired language/location.Note: For a complete list of supported language/location codes, refer to the ISO Code in the ISO 639-1 Language Code List.
Click the Save Changes button after editing the file.
Start your server.
