How to Install Legally Distinct Missile, the Fork of RocketMod

Legally Distinct Missile (LDM) is a fork of RocketMod supported by the developer of Unturned, SDGNelson. RocketMod itself was last updated for Windows in January of 2020, and is no longer being actively maintained. LDM is the project meant to maintain and update the systems that were provided by RocketMod, such as additional commands and the use of plugins. This article will give you the steps to install LDM on your dedicated server.

Install the Vanilla Dedicated Files

Since LDM is supported by the developer of Unturned, the files for LDM are included with the vanilla dedicated files. On your Dashboard start off by deploying a vanilla Unturned server.

Locate the Rocket.Unturned Folder

• Go to your File Manager on your Nodecraft control panel.

• Go to /Extras/Rocket.Unturned

• This folder will hold the files necessary for LDM.

Enabling LDM on your server

Select these 4 files and copy them to the Main Folder. Make sure to show hidden files in the File Manager.

• Rocket.API.dll

• Rocket.Core.dll

• Rocket.Unturned.dll

• Rocket.Unturned.module

Find these files again in the Main Folder. Make sure to show hidden files in the File Manager.

Move these files to the Modules folder.

Start the Server

Now that the LDM files in the right place, we'll need to start or restart the server. After the server starts up fully you should see the Rocket folder in the /Servers/unturned directory.
