How to Join a Satisfactory Dedicated Server

With Satisfactory's Update 5, dedicated server support was added into the game allowing users to create and join their own servers. This article will describe how to join a Satisfactory dedicated server.

Locate Your Hostname or IP Address and Start the Server

Before starting up the game you will need to find either the hostname or IP address of your server. On Nodecraft, the hostname will be located at the top of your server panel right below your instance name. The IP address will be located on the Overview tab in your server panel.

Make sure you also start up the server. Once the server panel turns green and the panel states the server is online the server will be joinable.

Add Your Server to Your Server List

Now that you have your server's address start up the game. On the Main Menu click on "Server Manager".

This will open up your Satisfactory server list. On the bottom of your screen click on "Add Server". A pop-up box will appear asking you to enter your server's address that you found earlier. Place that address in the Address box and do not change the port from 15777.

Once you have clicked "Confirm" you will have added the server to your list and can now be joined by clicking "Join Game" in the bottom right under the "Status" tab.
