How To Enable Creative Mode On Your Astroneer Server

Unlock the full potential of your Astroneer dedicated server by enabling creative mode! Creative mode removes survival restrictions, granting players infinite resources, oxygen, and the freedom to explore and build without limits. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you enable creative mode on your server.

To enable creative mode, you'll need Owner/Admin privileges on your Astroneer server. If you're unsure how to set yourself as Admin, check out our guide here. 

Now that you're an Admin, you'll want to join your Astroneer dedicated server, but don't descend to the planet just yet! 

Note: If you're not sure how to connect to your server, follow our How to Join guide. 

1. Navigate to the Server Admin tab in-game. 

2. Enable Creative Mode by clicking the box to the right of the option. 
   

3. After enabling creative mode, go to the CO-OP tab and launch your game, descending to the planet.

Once you're on the planet, you will have full access to creative mode. As an admin/owner, you can also access a creative mode configuration menu via the ESC key to further customize your gameplay experience.

Creative mode offers truly endless possibilities on your Astroneer server. With infinite resources and no need to worry about oxygen or material shortages, you and your friends can focus on exploring the universe and unleashing your creativity all in your own multiplayer server. It's perfect for experimenting with new ideas or building complex structures without limitations. Go out and explore!
