How to Upload an Existing World to your Core Keeper Server

This guide will explain how to easily and quickly upload a pre-existing world to your Core Keeper dedicated server here at Nodecraft!

Locate the Game Files

First you will need to navigate to the location of the world files on your PC. By default, it should be: C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper\Steam\[STEAM_ID]\worlds
As a tip: The AppData folder is hidden by default so you may need to show hidden folders to find it!

Here, you will find the world files corresponding to the save slot of your game.

Upload the World to your Server

Now that you have your world file, it's time to get it onto your Core Keeper server!

To do this, open your Nodecraft Pro panel and navigate to the "Server Files" section. You will need to locate the worlds folder on your Core Keeper server to upload to. This should be at /DedicatedServer/worlds
However, this folder will not exist until someone joins the server. If your Core Keeper server is brand new, we recommend manually creating it with the "New Folder" button while you're in the DedicatedServer folder.

Once you are inside the worlds folder, click on the "upload" button and from there you can upload the file from your PC.
You can also use FTP to upload your Core Keeper world as well! We have a guide here that explains how to use FTP.

Set the World in the Game Settings

The last step is setting the world in your server's game settings to correspond to the one you just uploaded.

Click on the "Game Settings" section of your panel, and then click on the "World" tab. In the text field for "World Save Slot", enter the number attached to your world. Since in our example it was 0, we would leave it at 0. If yours was 2, then you would enter 2.

That's all there is to it! Now you can start your server and play on the same Core Keeper world you've been enjoying, but now with your friends!
