    • This will take you to the file management page where you can view and manage your server's files.

Step 3: Rename Your Local or Steam Cloud Save Files

To ensure compatibility with the server, you’ll need to rename your save files to match the existing server files. Here’s how:

  1. Compare the Files:

    • Check the names of the files already in the server's savegame directory.

    • Identify the matching files in your local or Steam Cloud directory.

  2. Rename the Files:

    • For example, if the server save files are named 3ad85aea and 3ad85aea-index, you need to rename your local or Steam Cloud save files to match these names exactly.

Important: Make sure you only change the names of the files, not the file extensions.

Step 4: Upload the Renamed Save Files to the Server

  1. Upload Files to the Server:

    • In the savegame directory of the Server Files page, click the Upload button and select your renamed files.

  2. Overwrite Existing Files:

    • If prompted, confirm that you want to overwrite the existing server save files.

Step 5: Start/Restart Your Server

  1. Start the Server:

    • Go back to the Nodecraft panel’s main screen.

    • Click the Start or Restart button to boot up your server with the new save.

  2. Verify the Save:

    • Once the server is online, join your server to ensure the save was uploaded successfully.

Conclusion

By following these steps, you can successfully upload your local or Steam Cloud save files to your Enshrouded server. Renaming the files to match the server's naming convention is crucial for ensuring a smooth transition. If you encounter any issues, double-check the file names and ensure that you’ve followed each step carefully.
