Terraria New Mounts, Pets, and Movement Options

Transformation Mounts

A new roller skate mount has been added. This mount allows players to move quickly across flat surfaces and grind along Minecart Tracks. It emphasizes momentum-based horizontal movement rather than vertical mobility and works especially well in built environments.

Kites and Environmental Movement

Kites now use a stick-like item that can be placed or held to attach and fly kites. This item is not a mount and does not transport the player, but it allows kites to be flown dynamically and used decoratively within builds.

Remote and Utility Movement Items

An RC Car item allows players to remotely control a small vehicle. The RC Car can move across solid blocks and background walls but does not carry the player. It is intended for exploration, interaction, and novelty rather than travel speed.
