Do you have an existing Necesse world you want to use on our dedicated server? This guide will explain where to find your world save on your local PC and where that folder needs to be uploaded on your dedicated server.

  1. On your own PC, locate the world in %appdata%\Necesse\saves\worlds; it will be a .zip archive with your world name, such as my-new-world.zip .

Note: The AppData folder is typically hidden in Windows. You can enable Show hidden files, folders, and drives by adjusting your File Explorer settings or press Windows + R and type the following: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Necesse\saves\worlds to access the folder directly.

  2. In your Nodecraft server control panel, go to the File Manager and navigate to /data/saves/worlds

  3. Upload the zip of the world you wish to use here. In this example, this is my-new-world.zip.

  4. Change the world configuration option to the name of your zip file in your control panel, in this case my-new-world and restart the server.
