How to Edit your Hytale Server MOTD

This guide we are going to cover how you can set the MOTD (Message or the day) on your Hytale server. The MOTD is a message that will display to players when they are joining the server. 

Setting the MOTD

1. Open your Dashboard

2. Locate your Hytale server and click on the Panel button.

3. Once on your panel, Stop the server using the button in the upper left corner of the panel before proceeding. 

4. Once the server is stopped, click on Game Settings on the left-hand sidebar of the panel.

   

5. Once on the Game settings page you will see MOTD near the top as the second option.

   

6. Enter your new desired MOTD, then scroll down and click the Submit button. 

Conclusion

You have now set the MOTD of your Hytale server and can start your server back up. Once players join the server, they will see the newly set MOTD.
