Palworld PVP Overview
The Home Sweet Home update introduced an experimental Player vs Player system to Palworld. PvP allows players to damage each other, interact with other guildsā bases, and compete for special PvP items. Because PvP is still considered a trial feature, it is not covered by official support and should be enabled with care! This guide explains how to access the PvP settings on the Nodecraft dashboard and outlines what each option does.
How to Access PVP Settings
To locate the PvP options for your Palworld server:
Open your server in the Nodecraft dashboard
Click Game Settings
Select the PvP tab
All PvP related options are grouped here, making it easier to enable or adjust PvP without manually editing configuration files.
It's important to note that Palworld's PvP system has a lot of different options!

Enabling Player vs Player allows players to directly harm each other while Player vs Player Damage controls whether damage can be dealt between players. Player vs Player Damage to Structures determines whether players can damage objects that belong to other guilds.
PvP Special Item Drops
The PvP system includes optional special item drops when players are killed. When enabled, a PvP Special Item drops upon killing another player while PvP is active. By default, this item is Championās Emblem. Server owners can also control how many of these items drop per kill or change the item completely!

You also have the ability to allow these PvP special items to be displayed on the world map. You can choose to Show Special Items In Bases which will show on the map how many items exist in each base, which makes your competition a bit easier to follow. Don't forget about the Enable PvP Player Locations option. You can track your enemies (and be tracked yourself) from the map!
Conclusion
PvP in Palworld adds a whole new layer of chaos, competition, and strategy, but it is very much a āchoose your own adventureā system. With so many toggles available, you can go all-in on full PvP mayhem or keep things a little more controlled based on your personal server preference. Just remember, PvP is experimental, so testing and tweaking is part of the fun!
