Minecraft EULA

The Mojang End User License Agreement (EULA) outlines the terms and conditions under which you can use Minecraft and its related products. It's essential to understand the EULA to ensure your usage complies with Mojang's policies.

Starting with Minecraft version 1.7.10, all server owners will need to accept Mojang's EULA which can be found here. As of Minecraft version 1.9.4, Mojang has begun to block Minecraft servers which do not adhere to their EULA.

Accepting the EULA

The Nodecraft Pro panel will generally prompt you for an acceptance of the Minecraft EULA when necessary (such as on an initial server startup), however if this is not the case, you will need to manually accept it by editing the eula.txt file. We've included steps below to help you complete this if needed.

  1. Log into the Nodecraft Pro Panel for your Minecraft server.

  2. Navigate to the Server Files section on the left-hand side.

  3. Select the eula.txt file and click Edit.

  4. Ensure it contains eula=true

  5. Save your changes.

Note: This can also be accomplished through FTP!

For further reading and to ensure you're adhering to Mojang's EULA, we also recommend checking out Mojang's guidelines regarding server monetization here. Local laws and regulations may also apply to your commercial use of Minecraft.
