Enabling and managing the server allowlist (whitelist)

Setting up a whitelist on your server will prevent unwanted players from joining. A great use-case for an allowlist is to only permit friends/family to join the server.

Enabling and managing the whitelist

  1. Head to the Players section of NodePanel and access the Allowlist tab.

  2. Be sure to enable to Whitelist via the toggle, and then add each player username that you wish to allow to join the server.

You can also manage the whitelist ingame (assuming you're an OP) by utilising the /whitelist add <username> and /whitelist remove <username> commands.

NodePanel will generally issue commands to your server to enable the whitelist in realtime, but some changes may require a restart.
