Waiting on eggs to hatch in Palworld can feel like watching paint dry, except the paint might eventually grow legs and breathe fire. Thankfully, you can speed up egg hatching on your Palworld server with one simple setting.

Even though the setting mentions Huge Eggs, it affects egg hatching time for all egg sizes. Tiny egg, regular egg, large egg, huge egg, mystery omelet of destiny, they all use the same hatch time setting.

Changing Egg Hatching Time

  1. Open your Dashboard.

  2. Locate your Palworld server and click Panel.

  3. Stop your server.

  4. Click Game Settings.

  5. Make sure you are on the Basic tab.

  6. Locate the egg hatching setting. This may appear as Pal Egg Default Hatching Time, Egg Hatching Time, or something similar.

  7. Lower the value to speed up egg hatching. The value is measured in hours. For example, setting it to 1 makes the longest egg hatch time around 1 hour.

  8. Click Save or Submit.

  9. Start your server.

Important Note About Egg Sizes

Palworld only gives servers one egg hatching time setting: PalEggDefaultHatchingTime.

The setting may say it controls the time for a Huge Egg, but it also changes the hatch time for smaller eggs. There are not separate settings for small, normal, large, and huge eggs. Palworld keeps all of those eggs in one basket.

So, if you lower this setting, all egg sizes will hatch faster.

What Should I Set It To?

A lower number means faster hatching. If you want eggs to hatch faster without making breeding feel completely instant, 1 or 2 is a good starting point.

Conclusion

You have now changed the egg hatching time on your Palworld server. Your players can get back to breeding, hatching, and immediately saying, “Wait, I need one with better passives.”

Just remember, even though the setting mentions Huge Eggs, it affects every egg size. Palworld only gives us one egg timer, so all the eggs have to share.
