PC is the Priority (But Not on Steam Yet)
For the initial Early Access launch, Hytale will be a PC-only title. However, there is a significant catch for fans of Valve’s storefront: the game will not be available on Steam at the start.
The developers explained that they want to keep the launch "closer to the community" rather than using a third-party launcher. More importantly, there are technical hurdles:
"Steam currently doesn’t support some of our modding features; we will be in contact with Valve in the near future to see what’s possible."
