A few weeks ago, we published a technical post detailing how we migrated 23TB from Amazon S3 to Backblaze B2 in just 7 hours. If you haven't already read that post, we recommend that you do, but between Cloudflare's Bandwidth Alliance and Backblaze's B2 storage offering, we saved a lot of money, whilst maintaining the same level of quality and availability our customers expect.
After this post was published we had a lot of interest and questions from the developer community about our experience and reasoning behind the transition. The post reached the front-page of sites like Hacker News, landed in many AWS newsletters, as well as Google Discover; we saw an absolutely crazy traffic boost over the weekend this was published. Backblaze re-blogged our article to the Backblaze blog and received similar interest.
