MySQL Database Migration – May 16th, 2016

On Monday the 16th of May, 2016, we will be performing a MySQL database migration, transitioning to newer hardware, and a more solid network, as previously discussed at the end of 2015. Any customers utilizing our free MySQL databases in US-West, US-East, US-Northeast, and EU-NL will be affected . Please check the schedule below to see what times your MySQL server will be migrated. We expect this process to take a few hours, and will be keeping customers up to date via our twitter throughout the migration.

During the migration, your access to the MySQL server will not be available until the process is completed. No changes to your MySQL configuration will be required for most services, as all DNS hostnames will be updated. Please double check your MySQL settings prior to the migration to prevent mis-configuration once the migration takes place.
