# What Happens if My Server is Suspended?

Information about service termination and data retention.

Service suspension should only occur in these situations:

- Your subscription payment was not paid on time
- There was an chargeback or dispute with a previous payment

### What happens to my server?

We will automatically backup and archive your server into an instance. The files are kept for a minimum of 45 days after the termination date. Your IP address and hostname will not be reserved, meaning they could be issued to another customer.

### How do I restore my server?

Simply [purchase a new service/bot](/pricing) and re-deploy your server's instance.
