# How to Kick Players on a Space Engineers Server

Learn how to kick players from your Space Engineers server using the in-game admin menu. This guide shows you how to temporarily remove disruptive players and explains when kicking is a better option than banning.

In this guide we are going to go over how you can kick a player on your Space Engineers server. Kicking players is a great moderation tool to temporarily remove problematic players from your server.

## Kicking a player

1. Join your Space Engineers server as an admin.
2. Press F3 to open the Player menu.

3. Once on the player page, select the player that you want to kick, and click the **Kick **button. The player will be immediately removed and will not be able to join the server for a very small amount of time.

## Conclusion
