# How to Change the Server Name on Renown Servers

We recommend changing your game server name so you can easily find your Renown server in the game server list. In this guide, we'll show you two ways to update your Renown server name.

## Change the Server Name in the Game Settings

1. Login to your Nodecraft [Dashboard.](https://app.nodecraft.com/dashboard)
2. Click **Panel **with the gear icon on your Renown server
3. Locate the **Game Settings** on the left side menu of the Nodecraft server control panel.
4. In the **Basic tab** of the** Game Settings** you can edit your **Server Name** in the selected field below.

5. Select **Submit** to Save your changes.
6. **Start** your Renown server.

## Change the Server Name in the Config File

1. Navigate to **Server Files/Files **on the left menu of the Nodecraft server control panel.
2. Select the `game.ini` file in /`Renown_Combat/Saved/Config/LinuxServer`.
3. Select **Edit**.
4. Locate `ServerName` and input your desired Server Name.

5. Select **Save**.
6. **Start** your Voyagers of Nera game server.
