# Changing Language and Location Settings (Flags) in RedM

Customize your RedM server’s language and region settings with flags to attract players from specific locations.

Setting your server’s language makes it easier for players to navigate and enjoy the game in their preferred language. This guide covers two simple ways to update it—through the Nodecraft Control Panel or by adjusting the settings manually. Let's get started!

## Using your Control Panel

**Note: Be sure that your RedM server is fully stopped before making any configuration changes or setting updates!**

1. Navigate to the **Game Settings** tab within your RedM server’s control panel.
2. Click on the **Server Listing** tab to access server configuration options.

3. Scroll down to the **Language** setting.

5. Press the **Submit** button to save your changes.
6. **Start** your server to apply the new language settings.

## Manual Configuration

1. Navigate to the **Server Files **tab on the left side of your control panel.
2. Select the `nodecraft_config.cfg` file and click Edit to the top left.
3. Find the line that says `sets locale`. Inside the quotation marks, enter your desired language/location.

4. Click the **Save Changes** button after editing the file.
5. **Start** your server.
