# How to Get to Sunreach Islands in Palworld

Find out how to reach Sunreach in Palworld 1.0, unlock the sky islands, disable the Defense Modules, and prepare for the Auri and Shaolong Tower Boss battle.

Sunreach is a new late-game region added in **Palworld 1.0**, filled with floating islands, new Pals, Soralite deposits, field bosses, and another Tower Boss encounter.

You cannot simply grab a flying Pal and head toward Sunreach. The region remains hidden until you defeat the Tower Boss on Feybreak Island and use the portal at the top of the tower. Apparently, even magical sky islands have an admissions process.

## Prepare for the Trip to Sunreach

Before heading out, bring cold-resistant armor and plenty of supplies. Feybreak Island is extremely cold, and you will need to defeat Bjorn and Bastigor before the path to Sunreach becomes available.

This is a late-game boss fight, so bring strong Pals, upgraded weapons, ammunition, healing items, and enough food to avoid turning the expedition into an expensive sightseeing trip.

## How to Unlock Sunreach in Palworld

1. Travel to the **Feybreak Tower** at approximately **-1294, -1669** on the southern edge of Feybreak Island.
2. Enter the tower and defeat **Bjorn and Bastigor**.
3. After winning the fight, teleport to the top of the Feybreak Tower.
4. Locate the portal at the tower summit.
5. Interact with the portal and confirm that you want to travel to another location.
6. Wait for the new area to load, and you will arrive in Sunreach.

Sunreach will appear on your map after you enter the region for the first time. An NPC near the arrival point will also provide the opening quest for the area.

## How to Travel Between the Sky Islands

Sunreach is made up of several floating islands rather than one large landmass. A flying mount is the easiest way to travel between them, but you can also activate the altars located throughout the region to teleport between islands.

Activate fast travel points as you explore. Falling from the sky and realizing your nearest unlocked waypoint is back on Feybreak Island is not the ideal way to enjoy the scenery.

## Disable the Six Defense Modules

The tower at the center of Sunreach is protected by a large whirlwind. To remove it, locate and disable the **six Defense Modules** scattered across the floating islands.

Once all six modules have been disabled, the whirlwind surrounding the central tower will disappear. You can then enter the tower and challenge **Auri and Shaolong**, the Level 68 Tower Boss encounter for Sunreach.

## Final Thoughts

Reaching Sunreach requires clearing one of Palworld’s toughest pre-1.0 Tower Bosses, but the floating region offers plenty to make the trip worthwhile. Unlock the portal, activate the island travel points, disable the Defense Modules, and prepare for another serious boss fight.

Just remember to bring a flying Pal. The islands float. You do not.
