# How to Edit the Welcome Message on an Over the Top: WW1 Server

Learn how to edit your Over the Top: WW1 server welcome message in just a few steps using the Nodecraft control panel.

Jumping into your Over the Top: WW1 server shouldn’t feel like walking into silence. A solid welcome message gives players a quick vibe check right away. It can greet your squad, lay out the rules, or add a bit of personality right from the start. It’s a small touch that makes your server feel active!

Follow the steps below to edit your welcome message using the Nodecraft control panel.

1. **Open** your Dashboard.
2. Locate** **your Over the Top: WW1 server and click the **Panel** button.
3. Once on the panel, **Stop** the server by using the button in the upper left corner before making changes.
4. After the server has stopped, click **Game Settings** on the left-hand sidebar.
5. Locate the section called **Welcome Message**.
