# How to Change the Gamemode on an Over the Top: WW1 Server

Change the gamemode on your Over the Top: WW1 server using the Nodecraft control panel. Learn how to switch between Conquest and Siege to customize your gameplay!

Not every battle needs to play out the same way. Switching the gamemode on your Over the Top: WW1 server lets you change the pace and feel of each match. It’s a quick way to match the kind of experience you want your players to have.

Follow the steps below to change your server’s gamemode using the Nodecraft control panel.

1. **Open** your Dashboard.
2. Locate your Over the Top: WW1 server and click the **Panel **button.
3. Once on the panel, **Stop** the server by using the button in the upper left corner before making changes.
4. After the server has stopped, click **Game Settings** on the left-hand sidebar.
5. Locate the setting called **Current Gamemode**.

6. Select your preferred gamemode:

  Conquest  
  Siege
7. Click the **Submit** button at the bottom to save your changes.
