# How to Join Your Necesse Server

Learn how to join your Necesse server.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to connect to your Necesse server using your server IP address.

## Connect via IP Address or DNS Hostname

1. Log in to your Nodecraft **dashboard**.
2. Navigate to your Necesse server.
3. Open the **Necesse server control panel**.
4. In the **Overview section**, locate the **Host Name or Numeric IP** in the **Server Information** block.
5. **Copy** one of these

6. **Launch** Necesse.
7. Click **Multiplayer.**
8. Click **Join a server.**
9. Click **Add Server** if you want to save this for future use, **or choose Direct Join** to enter the details and join immediately.
10. Paste the **IP address or Hostname **into the IP Address field.
11. Unless you've changed the Port number, you can leave it as the default.
12. If you chose to **Add Server**, you can give the entry a name to find it quickly later.
13. Click **Add** and/or **Connect** to join.
