# How to Enable Creative Mode

Learn how to change your gamemode to creative in Hytale! 

In this guide we’ll be going over how to enable creative mode on your Hytale server.

## Changing to Creative Mode

1. Open your [Dashboard](https://app.nodecraft.com/dashboard).
2. Locate your Hytale server and click on the **Panel **button.
3. Once on your panel, click on **Console.**
4. Once on the console the command to enable creative mode is: **gamemode creative <username>**

Alternatively, you can also enable creative mode using the in-game commands. To do so you will need to be an admin/operator though. If you are an admin, you can open the command entry by hitting /** **on your keyboard and typing **gamemode creative <username> **but ensure the command starts with a /.
