# How to Change the Name of Your Hytale Server

Learn how to change the name for your Hytale server! 

This guide will walk you through the easy process of changing the name of your Hytale server. This name will be what appears on the Hytale server list.

## Changing the name

1. Open your [dashboard.](https://app.nodecraft.com/dashboard)
2. Locate your Hytale server and click on the **Panel **button.
3. Once on your panel, **Stop** the server using the button in the upper left corner of the panel before proceeding.
4. Once the server is stopped, click on **Game Settings** on the left-hand sidebar of the panel.

5. On the Game settings page you will see **Server Name **at the top as the first option.

6. Enter your new desired server name, then scroll down and click the **Submit** button.

You have now changed the name of your Hytale server and can start your server!
