# How to Pause Time on Your Hytale Server

Learn how to pause the time on a Hytale server!

In this guide, we’ll show you how to pause time on your Hytale server, so everything stays exactly how you left it.

## Using the Control Panel

1. Navigate to your Nodecraft Dashboard.
2. Click the **Panel** button for your Hytale server.
3. Locate and click **Console** in the menu on the left side.
4. Use the following command to pause the time:

**/time pause**

*To unpause the time, run the command again.*

**Note: Commands can also be run in-game when you are opped.**
