With the launch of Hytale and its limitless procedural world many will wonder how much RAM they may need. RAM is a crucial part of any server and not having enough for your demand can lead to stability issues and an unfavorable gameplay experience. We are going to go over our recommendations for RAM for Hytale during its EA launch, which as the game evolves could change over time.

## How much RAM do you need

At minimum we recommend** 4GB of RAM for up to 4 players** and an **additional 1GB of RAM per additional player**. Over time as your server and the game progresses past its early access launch this requirement may change.

## Mods and plugins

If you plan to run your server with plugins or mods that will increase the amount of RAM, you may need. It’s hard to say how much additional RAM is needed for mods or plugins because it will depend on the type of mods or plugins and their complexity.
