# Setting Default Map in Garry's Mod

Learn how to set a default map for your Garry's Mod server hosted with Nodecraft!

## Setting Default Map in Garry's Mod

Changing the default map loaded each time the game starts is done by clicking the **Game Settings** tab on the left side of the Nodecraft server control panel.

Enter the name of the map you want to set as default in the box labelled **Map Name**, and click the **Save** button.

> If adding a map from a Steam Workshop collection, make sure your collection is published and your Workshop Collection ID is correct in 'Game Settings'.
