# How to Enable Voice Chat on an Enshrouded Server

Learn how to enable voice chat on your Enshrouded server so you can talk with other players in-game! 

## Enable Voice Chat

1. Open your [Dashboard](https://app.nodecraft.com/dashboard)
2. Locate your Enshrouded server and click on the **Panel **button.
3. Navigate to your **Game settings** tab.
4. Once on the game settings page, scroll down till you see the **Chat **option. Toggle **Voice Chat **on.

  Note: You can also choose to have the chat mode to be on **Proximity **where any nearby players will hear each other or **Globally **to allow everyone to be heard regardless of location.
5. Once set, click on **Submit**.

6. Start/restart your server.

## Conclusion

You have now enabled voice chat on your Enshrouded server. Players will now be able to communicate with other players without the need of additional chat applications.
