# How to manually connect to your server

Learn how to connect and join your Arma 3 server from Nodecraft.

In order to connect to your private Arma 3 server manually,  you can join via the launcher or in game through the server browser.

## Joining Through the Launcher

Once you've started your game, the Arma 3 launcher will open first.

1. Select `Servers` in the launcher.
2. Select `Direct Connect` at the bottom of the servers list.
3. Enter your server IP/hostname, and password. The port defaults to 2302 and does not need to be changed.

## Joining Through the Server Browser

If you have already loaded the game by clicking `Play` in the launcher, or have disconnected from your server in some way, you can rejoin your server through the Server Browser.

1. On the Main Menu under Multiplayer select `Server Browser` .

2. Select `Direct Connect` and enter your server IP/hostname, and password. The port defaults to 2302 and does not need to be changed.
3. Select your server in the list under the LAN tab and click `Join` .
