"content_html": "Pocketpair is still rolling out new Pal reveals ahead of Palworld 1.0, and the latest one is named Dualith. This new Pal has a very different look compared to some of the other reveals we have seen so far. Instead of being tiny and harmless on its own, Dualith looks like a team-up between a little glowing creature and a much larger stone Pal body. The reveal gives us a fun hint at what is going on here. Pocketpair says, “Palpagos can be a scary place for little guys, so it is best to team up with a Pal!” That seems to be exactly what Dualith is doing.Want to see Dualith in action? You can watch the full reveal trailer here: https://x.com/Palworld_EN/status/2067412093091938550 Who is Dualith?Dualith appears to be a two-part Pal, which makes the name feel pretty fitting. The main body is a large, blocky stone figure covered in glowing blue-green markings. Inside the chest is a small glowing creature with a simple worried little face, almost like it is hiding inside the larger body for safety.Based on the announcement post, Dualith may be built around the idea of smaller Pals teaming up to survive the dangers of Palpagos. The little creature gets protection, and the larger stone body gets a tiny buddy along for the ride. Honestly, that feels very Palworld.Pocketpair has not confirmed Dualith’s element, work suitability, drops, spawn location, or combat role yet. For now, all we have is the reveal trailer, but that is enough to give Dualith a pretty memorable first impression.ConclusionDualith is one of the more creative new Pals revealed for Palworld 1.0 so far. The idea of a little creature teaming up with a bigger Pal to survive Palpagos gives it a lot more personality than a simple stone monster would have had.It looks ancient, sturdy, protective, and just a little bit nervous. With Palworld 1.0 launching on July 10th, Dualith is another new Pal worth keeping an eye on. Now we just need to know where to find it, what it can do, and if that tiny glowing buddy is doing most of the emotional labor in there.",

"content_html": "Palworld’s long-awaited 1.0 launch is finally on the horizon, and Pocketpair used the game’s cinematic release date trailer to give players their first look at several brand new Pals arriving alongside the massive update on July 10th. The trailer offered only brief glimpses of many of these creatures, but there is already plenty for fans to analyze.According to Pocketpair, version 1.0 will introduce more new Pals than any previous update in the game’s history, making it one of the largest roster expansions since Palworld entered Early Access. While most of the newcomers remain unnamed for now, the trailer showcased a wide variety of designs ranging from adorable companions to massive creatures that appear capable of taking on legendary boss encounters. The Bamboo Warrior PalOne of the first new creatures shown in the Palworld 1.0 trailer is a panda inspired Pal that appears ready to throw hands. During one of the trailer’s combat sequences, this new Pal is shown launching a powerful uppercut that sends the much larger opponent reeling backward. It’s a brief moment, but it immediately establishes this newcomer as a serious combatant rather than a simple utility Pal.The Armored Firewing PalOne of the most intimidating creatures shown in the trailer is a massive winged Pal that appears to combine insect-like features with heavy armor plating. During its brief appearance, the creature unleashes a fiery attack directly from its wings, suggesting it could be a powerful Fire-type or possibly a Fire/Dark hybrid. Its design stands out from many existing flying Pals thanks to its metallic appearance and glowing orange markings spread across its enormous wings. The creature’s aggressive stance and apparent ranged attacks hint that it could become a strong combat-focused Pal rather than a utility or base worker. The Sky DragonPerhaps the most imposing creature shown during the trailer is a colossal dragon-like Pal that appears to rule the newly revealed Sky Islands. Towering above the landscape and surrounded by crackling lightning, the creature is presented as one of the central threats players will encounter during the update’s new content.Unlike many of the other new Pals shown throughout the trailer, the Sky Dragon receives significant screen time and is featured directly fighting the player. This strongly suggests it will play a major role in the new storyline surrounding the Sky Islands and the World Tree. The Living Sword (Fish) PalOne of the most eye-catching reveals appears to be a Pal capable of transforming into a sword. While Pocketpair has not revealed its name of abilities, the trailer briefly showed the creature becoming a weapon during combat. If the final implementation works as shown, this could introduce one of the most unique Partner Skills in the game and further expand the ways players interact with their Pals during battles. The World Tree GuardianThe trailer also featured a massive airborne creature soaring above the landscape. Its mythic appearance suggests it could be tied to the World Tree storyline that has been teased since Palworld’s original launch.Whether this creature is a catchable Pal, a raid boss, or a story encounter remains unknown, but it was easily one of the most impressive reveals in the trailer.Final ThoughtsIf the trailer is any indication, Palworld 1.0 is shaping up to be the game’s biggest update yet. Between the promise of more new Pals than any previous update, entirely new regions, and long-awaited story developments surrounding the World Tree, players will have plenty of reasons to return to Palpagos on July 10th.Pocketpair is still keeping many of the new creatures under wraps, but the few shown so far already suggest that Palworld’s roster is about to get a lot bigger.",

"content_html": "Survival game fans have no shortage of options these days, but every once in a while a new title comes along that feels genuinely different. That’s exactly the impression ORMOD: Directive has been making as it continues to build momentum ahead of its planned 2026 release.Developed by House 16 Software, ORMOD: Directive combines survival, automation, base building, exploration, and MMO-style multiplayer into a single sandbox experience. While the game is still in development, it has already attracted hundreds of thousands of wishlists on Steam and generated significant attention within the survival gaming community. What is ORMOD: Directive? At its core, ORMOD: Directive is an open-world survival sandbox set in a hostile world overrun by machines. Players will need to scavenge resources, build shelters, craft equipment, automate production, and defend themselves against both environmental threats and dangerous enemies.Unlike many survival games that rely on static maps, ORMOD generates unique worlds filled with procedurally created terrain, towns, roads, buildings, and landmarks. This means no two worlds should play exactly the same.Players can tackle the experience solo, cooperatively with friends, or on persistent multiplayer servers featuring PvE, PvP, Hardcore, and Creative game modes.Survival Meets AutomationOne of the features helping ORMOD stand out is its focus on automation. While surviving the early game requires traditional resource gathering and base construction, players can gradually build automated systems to streamline production and expand their operations. This creates a progression path that blends survival gameplay with the satisfaction of designing efficient systems. For players who enjoy games like Rust, DayZ, 7 Days to Die, Satisfactory, or Factorio, ORMOD appears to draw inspiration from multiple genres while creating its own identity.A World That Never Stops EvolvingAccording to the developers, ORMOD’s world continues to evolve over time through dynamic events and ongoing threats.Players may encounter:AirdropsHelicopter crashesRandom world eventsPvP encountersExpanding machine threatsThe game’s titular ORMOD threat steadily grows throughout the world, creating additional challenges as players progress. At night, hostile machines become even more dangerous, forcing players to carefully balance exploration, defense, and resource management.Vehicles, Combat, and ExplorationBeyond base building and automation, ORMOD promises a large world filled with opportunities for exploration.Players will be able to discover and modify weapons, locate valuable equipment, and repair vehicles to travel across the map more efficiently. Early footage has showcased both ground vehicles and aircraft, allowing players to cover large distances while searching for resources and points of interest.Combined with procedural world generation, these systems aim to create a survival experience where every journey feels unpredictable.Looking Ahead to ReleaseHouse 16 Software currently plans to release ORMOD: Directive on PC through Steam sometime in 2026. While an exact launch date has not yet been announced, continued playtesting and frequent development updates suggest the project is steadily moving toward release. If the final game can deliver on its ambitious vision, ORMOD may become one of the most interesting survival sandbox releases of the year. For fans of large-scale survival games, this is definitely one to keep on your radar.",

It includes a full graphics overhaul featuring new Unreal Engine 5 capabilities, the Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah merged into one continuous world, multi-character support was added, and a whole new revamped UI.All of those new Unreal Engine 5 features aren't free as far as resources are concerned, though. That means the performance of your Conan Exiles server might have just changed, especially for GPORTAL customers. While handling the surge of new players, older budget CPUs are going to struggle to keep up.Conan Exiles' New Server Performance MetricsEarly community testing is showing baseline server RAM usage climbing roughly 15-25% compared to the previous version's engine. While the initial startup RAM requirements are less, the server puts significantly more strain on CPUs. What Nodecraft does Differently for Conan ExilesModern Ryzen-based hardware that handles Unreal Engine 5
Conan Exiles has always been a CPU & RAM-heavy game server, and UE5 leans even harder on hardware. Nodecraft's fleet of servers uses modern Ryzen 9 or similar EYPC CPUs to make every server on the device is running lag-free. Older generation CPUs used by GPORTAL may be slower, especially under significant customer demand.Servers live in just seconds
New customers can get a free trial up and running in just seconds. No more waiting for your server to show up minutes or even hours later. Your server install is streamed to your browser, so it's super clear when things are done!180+ new settings that you control
This is the part most new server owners miss, until they find out it's a setting in the game server. With Nodecraft, every setting is easily accessible, and simple to find with the integrated search (try it out with keyboard shortcut
CTRL + K
).The Nodecraft Conan Exiles game server settings are built with dynamic configuration in mind, so any changes you make that interact with other settings are reflected instantly. Settings that rely on others are automatically toggled on/off responsively, so there's no more guessing. Additionally, the Nodecraft control panel offers easy controls to enable time-based events. All of this is available visually without the need to FTP to your server just to "unlock" these settings.Try Nodecraft for your Conan Exiles Enhanced game serverIf GPORTAL has been your default, maybe it's time to try an enhanced game server by upgrading to Nodecraft. Your players will thank you.",

"content_html": "After eight years of surviving sandstorms, building empires, and probably losing a base or two, Conan Exiles is getting one of its biggest updates yet!On May 5, 2026, Conan Exiles Enhanced launches as a free upgrade on Steam, bringing the game over to Unreal Engine 5. This is not just a small visual update. It is a pretty major upgrade to how the game looks, runs, and feels overall. If you have been waiting for a reason to jump back in or finally try it out, this is probably it!A Completely Rebuilt ExperienceAt its core, Conan Exiles Enhanced takes everything that already exists and updates it to a much more modern standard.Visually, the improvements are noticeable right away. Lighting, shadows, and terrain detail all feel more natural, which helps the world feel less flat and a bit more immersive.Performance has also been a focus. The game is targeting smoother frame rates across a range of settings, even on larger servers or more complex builds. As always, your results will depend on your setup, but the goal is a more consistent experience overall. One unexpected improvement is the install size. The client has been reduced to around 68GB, which is a big drop from where it used to sit. There is also proper Steam Deck support now, which opens things up quite a bit for players who prefer handheld play. One Unified WorldOne of the more meaningful changes is how the game now handles maps. Previously, you had to choose between the Exiled Lands and the Isle of Siptah. Now, both exist as part of the same experience. You can travel between them without restarting, servers can support both at the same time, and you can stick with a single character across everything. It makes multiplayer feel more connected and a lot less segmented. There is one tradeoff to be aware of. Bases built on the Isle of Siptah will not carry over due to how the map was reworked for this system. Characters, inventory, and followers still transfer, but structures will need to be rebuilt.Quality of Life ChangesBeyond the engine upgrade, there are a few changes that make every day gameplay feel smoother. You can now have multiple characters on a single account, which removes the need to constantly restart or overwrite progress just to try something new.The interface has also been cleaned up. Menus are easier to move through and feel a bit more modern without changing too much of the core layout.Crafting is less tedious as well. Stations can now pull materials from nearby storage and follower inventories, which cuts down on a lot of unnecessary back and forth.Modding support is still there at launch, though some mods will need time to update. A refreshed dev kit is available, and several popular mods are expected to be ready early!Individually, these are small changes. Together, they remove a lot of the little annoyances that have plagued some players throughout the years. What Happens to the Old Version? The previous version of the game is now referred to as Conan Exiles Legacy. It is still available, but it is no longer the main version going forward. On PC, official servers move to the Enhanced version, and Legacy will not receive new content updates. Features like the Bazaar are also disabled there, and certain currencies will no longer be usable. At this point, it mainly exists for private servers, single player, or anyone who needs to stay on the older version.Save Transfers and Server ChangesFor most players, this update does not mean starting over.Characters, inventory, and followers carry over. Bases built in the Exiled Lands transfer as well. The main exception is the Isle of Siptah, where structures do not carry over due to the map merge. If you are running a private server, the process is still fairly straightforward, but it is worth preparing ahead of time. Backing up your files before updating is strongly recommended. The first startup after upgrading may take longer while everything converts, and you may notice slightly higher resource usage under Unreal Engine 5.Final ThoughtsIt would be easy to look at Conan Exiles Enhanced as just a visual upgrade, but it does more than that behind the scenes. Moving to Unreal Engine 5 gives the game more room to grow, improves performance over time, and makes more advanced modding possible. If you already own Conan Exiles on Steam, there is not much reason not to try it. The upgrade is free, your progress carries over, and the overall experience feels smoother without changing what made the game enjoyable in the first place. If you have been on the fence, this is probably the best version of the game to start with. It does not reinvent everything, but it removes a lot of the friction that built up over time and sets the game up for what comes next.We think that this update is exactly what Conan needed and we can't wait to get into it. ",
