Palworld 1.0 has officially arrived! Discover everything included in the full release, from Sunreach and the World Tree to 72 new Pals, multiplayer improvements, new weapons, and major gameplay overhauls.

Palworld has officially left Early Access. After more than two years of updates, expansions, strange creatures, and increasingly elaborate bases, Palworld 1.0 is now live. This is not a small launch-day update, either. Version 1.0 introduces new regions, 72 additional Pals, major changes to combat and breeding, a reworked story, expanded multiplayer features, improved server performance, and overhauls across nearly every major part of the game.Existing saves can continue into Palworld 1.0, but Pocketpair recommends starting fresh to experience the reworked progression and story flow from the beginning. Here are the biggest additions and changes arriving with Palworld 1.0.Explore Sunreach and the World TreeThe two biggest additions in Palworld 1.0 are Sunreach and the World Tree.Sunreach is a mysterious group of floating islands suspended above Palpagos by Paldium. The region features its own environment, civilization, resources, Pals, tower bosses, and pieces of the island’s history. Some ores found in Sunreach require specialized equipment to mine, giving players another reason to prepare before heading into the clouds. New towers are hidden throughout the region, with additional story details waiting for players who reach the edge of the sky.The World Tree serves as the centerpiece of Palworld’s updated story. Players will finally learn more about the conflict surrounding the towers and the factions fighting for control of them.It is home to some of the game’s most difficult challenges, rare Paloxite ore, Ancient Civilization Relics, and the Radiant Gems required for the new Awakening system.Palpagos Has Been ExpandedThe existing map has received plenty of new content.Palworld 1.0 adds seven smaller islands divided between volcano, desert, and ruins biomes. Each island has a different purpose and includes Pals that cannot be encountered elsewhere.New settlements have been added to the Bamboo Groves, Snowy Mountains, Sakurajima, and Sunreach. These settlements contain additional NPCs and sub-missions.Enemy bases can now appear at sea, Ancient Ruins have been scattered across the map, and new Watchtowers reveal nearby areas while functioning as fast travel points. The Wildlife Sanctuaries have been completely redesigned. Each sanctuary now has a distinct environment, rare resources, exclusive Pals, and powerful bosses. Defense drones patrol the islands and attempt to remove unwanted visitors, so players can either sneak past the searchlights or charge directly into danger.Subtlety has never been required in Palworld.72 New Pals Join the PaldeckPalworld 1.0 adds 72 new Pals, bringing the total number of Pals to 287.The new additions include 47 original Pals and 25 variants spread throughout Sunreach, the World Tree, and other updated areas.Pocketpair has reviewed Pal habitats and spawn levels across the entire map. Wild Pal placement should now feel more appropriate for each environment and provide a more natural sense of progression as players explore.Predator Pals no longer appear only at fixed locations. They now have a small chance to spawn throughout the map, making unexpected encounters more common.Existing Pals have not been forgotten. More than 100 new Pal animations have been added, including swimming, sleeping beside the player, idle behaviors, and new riding motions.Party Pals will even stop and face their owner after the player remains idle for a while. They missed you.Strengthen Pals Through Awakening and MutationTwo new systems give players more ways to create powerful Pals.Awakening allows players to unlock additional strength using Radiant Gems found within the World Tree. This gives players another endgame progression path for improving their favorite Pals.Mutation affects breeding. Eggs now have a small chance to produce a mutated Pal with higher stats and a unique passive skill.Several new cakes can influence breeding outcomes:Mushroom Cake slightly improves the chances of higher stats.Vegetable Cake produces two eggs at once.Deluxe Vegetable Cake increases mutation chances and improves stat growth.Special Cake increases the chance of inheriting multiple passive skills.New World Tree passive skills provide enormous bonuses while applying penalties. Twin-Edged Holy Blade increases Attack by 50 percent but reduces Defense, while Dimensional Leap increases movement speed at the cost of faster hunger depletion.Breeding the perfect Pal may now require even more spreadsheets than before.Partner Skills Have Been ReworkedPartner Skills for more than 200 Pals have been changed or expanded. Some Pals can now detect nearby Pal Effigies, improve shield regeneration, increase Work Suitability levels, prevent fall damage, or strengthen other Pals in the party. Many Partner Skill descriptions now display exact values, making it easier to understand what each Pal contributes to a team. These values will update when a Pal’s rank improves. Most identical Partner Skill effects no longer stack when multiple copies of the same Pal are placed in a party. This should encourage players to build more varied teams instead of filling every slot with the same creature. Some Partner Skills no longer require Pal Gear. Glider Pals and certain Pals that assist with player attacks can use their skills as soon as they are captured.Work Suitability Now Reaches Level 10Work Suitability has been expanded to 10 levels, and the work values of every Pal have been rebalanced.Ranking up a Pal will now increase one of its Work Suitability levels. Reaching maximum rank still increases all of its work levels. The number of Pals required for maximum condensation has been reduced from 116 to 48. This should make it much easier to fully develop a Pal without filling several storage boxes with identical Lamballs.Capture Bonus requirements have been reduced from 12 captures to five, allowing players to earn bonus experience and move into new regions more quickly.Combat Feels Faster and More ResponsivePlayer movement and combat animations have been heavily reworked.Dodging while aiming or attacking now performs a dash instead of a roll. Players can attack while dashing, continue reloading during dodges, and adjust their direction more easily during evasive movement.Nearly every Pal Active Skill has received balance changes to its power, behavior, cooldown, or usability. Party Pals can now deal damage equal to or greater than the player, making Pal-focused combat builds more practical. Many existing Pals have received new Active Skills. Fuddler can burrow underground and burst beneath enemies, Starryon has a new charge attack, and Broncherry Aqua can launch enemies with a Water-type tackle.Players can aim at an enemy and issue a direct attack command to their active Pal.Wild Pals have received new combat behaviors. Dog-type Pals can bite, horse-type Pals can repeatedly charge, and faster Pals may reposition after attacking.Tower Bosses Have ChangedEvery Tower Boss now has a redesigned tower with a unique visual style. Some bosses have received new movements and attacks, meaning older strategies may no longer work as expected.Tower Boss time limits have been reduced from 10 minutes to five minutes, with boss stats adjusted to fit the shorter battles. The game’s main missions have been reorganized so that exploration, Tower Bosses, Sunreach, and the World Tree connect more naturally. New story-driven sub-missions, NPCs, and Journals have been added throughout Palpagos.Main mission and sub-mission progress has been reset due to reward and progression changes. Some tutorial and Tower Boss missions will automatically complete based on the bosses already defeated on the save.Build Bases on the WaterAquatic Construction has arrived.Players can use the new Aquatic Construction Kit to build bases along shorelines and out at sea. The update introduces inverted roof pieces, faux plants, boss statues, ancient civilization structures, and additional furniture.Storage management has received several useful improvements. Chests can now be named, painted, and configured to automatically accept matching items. Players can auto-deposit items without opening a chest.Gold stored in base containers can now be used while shopping inside the base, and some facilities can access crafting materials directly from storage. The Repair Kit has been removed. Pals with Handiwork can now repair damaged structures without consuming repair items.New Clinics and Monitoring Stands can reduce SAN loss and prevent illness among Work Pals. Fixed assignments can be configured while a Pal is sleeping.Pals working in transportation can collect matching nearby items across a wider area, while Base Pals should more reliably return to work and finish partially completed tasks.Base Raids Are Now Wave-BasedThe raid system has been significantly redesigned.Enemies now attack bases in multiple waves, and players receive rewards after defeating the entire raid. Enemy factions can vary depending on the base’s location, and their levels scale based on the Work Pals assigned to that base.Defense structures no longer consume ammunition during raids.A new Negotiator can visit the base and offer to cancel an upcoming raid in exchange for gold.Sometimes the strongest defensive structure is a well-funded wallet.Multiplayer and Dedicated Servers Received Major ImprovementsPalworld 1.0 adds in-game voice chat for dedicated servers. The feature must be enabled through the server’s settings and is not supported on WinGDK.Guilds now support multiple roles with customizable permissions. Login and logout notifications, shared guild markers, improved security options, and role-restricted structures have been added.In-game chat now stores up to 200 lines of history and includes improved system messages and anti-impersonation protections. The server browser, password handling, IP address entry, and connection process have been improved. Players can hide server addresses while streaming.Pocketpair has optimized dedicated server processing, memory usage, equipment systems, map objects, placed structures, and data searches. The developers fixed numerous dedicated server crashes, synchronization problems, memory leaks, and multiplayer progression issues. These changes should improve stability on servers with large player counts or heavily developed bases, although actual performance will still depend on player activity, map size, and available server resources.New Weapons, Armor, and EquipmentPalworld 1.0 adds 13 weapons, including the Mechanical Bow, Combat SMG, Heavy Assault Rifle, Drone Launcher, Plasma Rifle, Laser Sword, Beam Launcher, and Tactical Grenade Launcher.Players can craft an Extra Weapon Holster to increase their available weapon slots to six.The Wing Pack provides a new method of flight without requiring a flying Pal. It consumes Wing Cells and can be used for exploration, combat, or moving around a base. The Plasma Multicutter can gather ore and wood and can even be used while riding.New Ancient armor, shields, accessories, implants, Pal Spheres, and boss-themed headgear have been added. The Level Cap Is Now 80The maximum player level has increased from 65 to 80.New technologies tied to the ancient civilization become available throughout the additional levels. High-difficulty activities, including raid bosses, Tower Boss Hard Mode, oil rigs, and expeditions, have been rebalanced around the new cap.Experience progression has been adjusted. Lower-level Pals gain experience more quickly, making it easier to train creatures captured later in a playthrough.Existing accumulated experience will be recalculated using the new experience table, but player levels will not be reduced.Major Balance and Quality-of-Life ChangesCapture probability has been adjusted to make Pals easier to catch overall.Gold found in treasure chests has been increased by roughly two to four times, and shop prices, crafting requirements, equipment progression, expedition rewards, and technology unlocks have been rebalanced.Players can now jump while carrying up to 1.25 times their maximum weight, and movement penalties while overburdened have been reduced. The Pal Box finally has a search function. Filters and sorting options have been added to the Paldeck, crafting menu, and storage interfaces.Players can now fast travel directly from the map while inside a base, retrieve every Base Pal with one button, use certain manuals in bulk, and open the inventory with the I key.An auto-run function has been added for long-distance travel.Your keyboard hand may finally know peace.Palworld Looks and Sounds BetterPocketpair has updated the game’s water, coastlines, lighting, shadows, environmental effects, and rendering.Fields should look more atmospheric, coastlines should blend more naturally with the water, and different locations and times of day should feel more distinct.Sound effects have been reworked across combat, movement, gathering, riding, building, crafting, menus, missions, and base activities. Players can separately adjust player voices, NPC voices, and certain environmental sounds.Battle music has been expanded and adjusted to better follow the flow of combat. Can You Continue Using an Existing Save?Yes. Existing Palworld saves can continue into version 1.0.Pocketpair still recommends starting with a new character so players can experience the revised story, progression, Pal placement, missions, and map balance from the beginning.Players continuing an older save should be aware of several changes:Main mission and sub-mission progress has been reset.Bounty defeat history has been reset due to boss placement changes.Random Pal spawn data from version 0.7.3 and earlier will not carry over.Updated map boundaries may cause some older saves to load outside the playable area.Emergency Escape can be used if a character appears outside the updated boundary.Backing up important save data before launching a major update is always a good idea, especially when using mods.Remove Mods Before TroubleshootingPocketpair warns that mods may cause crashes, save corruption, lost progress, or other unexpected issues after the update.Players experiencing problems should remove manually installed mods and disable Steam Workshop mods through the Mod Management menu.Important saves should be backed up before adding mods to a Palworld 1.0 save.A New Beginning for PalworldPalworld 1.0 is much larger than a traditional launch patch.Sunreach and the World Tree expand the map and story, while Awakening, Mutation, reworked Partner Skills, new weapons, aquatic bases, revamped raids, and 72 additional Pals provide plenty of reasons to return.Dedicated servers have received important stability, performance, guild, chat, and connection improvements. Server owners should back up their saves, review their settings, and verify mod compatibility before inviting everyone back.Palworld may have left Early Access, but Pocketpair is clearly not finished with Palpagos yet.Gather your Pals, repair the base, and prepare for another adventure. The World Tree is finally waiting.

Wondering what new areas are coming to Palworld 1.0? Learn everything revealed so far about the World Tree, Wildlife Sanctuary reworks, and the game's expanded world.

Palworld 1.0 is bringing new places to explore, but Pocketpair has kept most of the exact location details under wraps for now. What we do know is that the full release will include new regions, new story-driven areas, the long-awaited World Tree, and major changes to some existing parts of Palpagos. The World Tree is the biggest confirmed location so far. It has been one of Palworld’s most mysterious landmarks since launch, sitting in the distance and teasing players with a massive “you can see it, but you can’t really explore it yet” kind of energy. With Palworld 1.0, that finally changes.Pocketpair has also teased “vast new areas to explore” as part of the game’s revamped world and story. These areas appear to be tied to new story missions, meaning players should have more direction as they uncover what is actually going on across Palpagos. The World TreeThe World Tree is easily the headline location for Palworld 1.0. Pocketpair’s cinematic trailer places heavy focus on the massive tree, strange energy, new threats, and the surrounding mystery. While the full patch notes have not been released yet, the World Tree looks like it will serve as one of the major endgame destinations in version 1.0.For players who have spent months staring at the tree from across the map, this is a big deal. It is not just a background landmark anymore. It is becoming part of the actual adventure.Wildlife Sanctuaries Are Getting ReworkedThe Wildlife Sanctuaries are also getting a major glow-up in Palworld 1.0. These areas already existed, but Pocketpair is overhauling them with unique ecosystems, new landscapes, rare Pals, unique materials, barriers, drones, and powerful bosses. That means Sanctuaries should feel less like simple rare Pal islands and more like proper high-risk exploration zones. In other words, sneaking into a Sanctuary may soon involve more than grabbing a Pal and sprinting away while pretending the PIDF definitely did not see you.Existing Areas Will Feel More AlivePalworld 1.0 is not only adding new content on top of the old map. Pocketpair has also said existing areas are being improved to make them feel more alive. That could mean more environmental detail, stronger identity between regions, new encounters, or better reasons to revisit areas players already know. This is important because Palworld has changed a lot since Early Access began. Version 1.0 sounds less like a simple content patch and more like a full-world refresh. Are Sky Islands Coming to Palworld 1.0?Maybe, but this is where things get a little fuzzy. The Palworld 1.0 trailer appears to show floating or elevated areas around the World Tree, which has led players to talk about Sky Islands. Pocketpair has confirmed new regions and vast new areas, but it has not fully broken down every official area name yet.For now, the safest way to say it is that Palworld 1.0 appears to include sky-focused or elevated exploration near the World Tree, but players will need the full patch notes to know exactly how those areas are named and how they work.Final ThoughtsPalworld 1.0 is bringing players back to Palpagos with new regions, story-driven exploration, and the long-awaited World Tree. Even better, existing locations like Wildlife Sanctuaries are being reworked with new ecosystems, rare Pals, unique materials, and powerful bosses. So while Pocketpair has not revealed every new area just yet, one thing is clear: Palworld 1.0 is not just adding a few new things to catch. It is giving players new reasons to explore, build, fight, and probably get chased across the map by something they absolutely were not ready for.

Looking for the best hosting providers for Palworld? Learn what makes a good Palworld server host, why RAM matters, and why Nodecraft is a strong contender for the top spot.

Palworld is not the kind of game where any tiny server will do. Once your group starts building bases, breeding Pals, exploring, farming resources, and leaving the world online, your server has to keep up.That is why players searching for the best hosting providers for Palworld should look past the cheapest plan or the biggest player-slot number. A good Palworld server host needs strong hardware, enough RAM, simple settings, reliable backups, and a control panel that does not make every change feel like a project. If you are looking for a Nitrado or GPORTAL alternative for Palworld, the best place to start is by understanding what Palworld actually needs. Why Palworld Server Hosting Needs More PowerPalworld can be demanding on server resources, especially for worlds with active bases, a lot of Pals, and multiple players online at once. A server may technically start with lower memory, but that does not mean it will stay stable once the world gets busy. For most players, the best Palworld hosting provider should offer:Strong CPU performancePlenty of RAMFast SSD or NVMe storageAutomatic backupsDDoS protectionEasy server settingsSupport for save uploads or world transfersA simple way to restart, update, and manage the serverPlayer slots matter, but RAM and CPU matter more. A server that allows 32 players on paper can still lag or crash if the resources behind it are not ready for the load.
Best Palworld Hosting Providers to CompareThere are several Palworld server hosting providers worth comparing, depending on what kind of server you want to run.NodecraftNodecraft is a strong choice for players who want powerful Palworld hosting without dealing with a messy setup process. The biggest advantage is NodePanel, which makes it easier to manage your server, adjust settings, monitor performance, and keep control of your world.Nodecraft is also a great option if you care about backups and flexibility. Palworld worlds can take a lot of time to build, and losing progress is not exactly fun. With Nodecraft, you can use cloud backups and Save & Swap to keep your Palworld setup safe while still having room to play other games on the same server plan. For players looking for a Nitrado or GPORTAL alternative, Nodecraft is the best fit if you want a more flexible control panel, easy customization, strong hardware, and a more hands-on way to manage your server.NitradoNitrado is one of the most recognized names in game server hosting, and it offers Palworld servers with crossplay support, backups, and adjustable plans. It is a familiar choice for players who have used hosted servers before. That said, some players may want a different experience. If you want a different panel, more flexible game switching, easier backups, or a server host that feels more focused on control and customization, it makes sense to compare Nitrado alternatives before committing.GPORTALGPORTAL is another common Palworld hosting option. It supports Palworld servers with crossplay, backup storage, DDoS protection, and quick setup. This makes it a decent option for players who want a straightforward hosted server and do not plan to tinker too much.Apex HostingApex Hosting offers Palworld server plans with DDoS protection, backups, FTP access, and support. It is a recognizable hosting provider and may work well for players who want a traditional game server hosting experience with several plan sizes.VPS Hosting ProvidersSome players choose a VPS host for Palworld because it gives them more control over the machine. This can be useful for advanced users who are comfortable with Linux, SteamCMD, firewall rules, updates, and manual troubleshooting. For most players, though, a VPS is more work than a managed Palworld server host. If you want to play instead of manage server software, a game server host is usually the better option. What Makes Nodecraft a Strong Nitrado Alternative for Palworld?Nodecraft is built for players who want control without needing to babysit every file by hand. With Palworld, that matters. You may need to adjust XP rates, change difficulty settings, manage player limits, upload a world, restore a backup, or restart after an update. A good control panel can save you a lot of time.Nodecraft gives Palworld server owners:Helpful human supportEasy server setupSimple game settingsFile access for advanced customizationManual and automated cloud backupsSave & Swap for switching between supported gamesStrong server hardwareDDoS protectionThe big difference is flexibility. You are not just renting a server and hoping the default setup works. You have room to tune your Palworld world around your group. What Should You Avoid in a Palworld Host? When comparing the best hosting providers for Palworld, avoid choosing based only on price. A cheap plan can look good until your server starts lagging, crashing, or running out of memory.Be careful with any host that does not clearly explain:How much RAM your plan includesWhat CPU hardware is being usedHow backups workHow easy it is to restore a saveHow settings are editedWhat happens when you need supportIf your world can be moved laterPalworld worlds can grow fast. Your hosting plan should be able to grow with it.So, Which Palworld Host Should You Pick?If you want the easiest answer, Nodecraft is one of the best Palworld server hosting providers for players who want a strong Nitrado alternative.Nitrado, GPORTAL, Apex, and VPS providers can all work depending on your needs, but Nodecraft stands out for players who want easy setup, better control, flexible backups, and a panel that makes server management feel less painful.Palworld already gives you enough chaos with raids, base work, hungry Pals, and that one friend who keeps poking bosses they should not poke yet. Your server host should not add more chaos on top of it.ConclusionThe best Palworld hosting provider is not just the one with the lowest price or the biggest slot count. It is the one that gives your server the resources, backups, and tools it needs to stay online and easy to manage. If you are comparing Nitrado alternatives for Palworld, Nodecraft is a strong choice for players who want reliable hardware, flexible server management, and a control panel built around making game servers easier to run.Start your Palworld server with Nodecraft and give your world the room it needs to grow.

Palworld has come a long way since its Early Access launch in 2024. Discover the biggest updates, new islands, crossplay, platform expansions, major gameplay changes, and everything that's happened before the 1.0 release.

Palworld has changed a lot since it first exploded into Early Access in January 2024. At launch, players jumped into Palpagos with a huge open world, base building, Pal catching, crafting, boss fights, and dedicated servers. Steam still lists the Early Access release date as January 18, 2024, with the game supporting single-player, online co-op, cross-platform multiplayer, and dedicated servers for up to 32 players.Since then, Palworld has grown from a viral survival game into a much larger Early Access project with new islands, new Pals, new raids, new platform support, crossplay, collaboration content, and a full 1.0 launch now scheduled for July 10, 2026.Early Palworld Was Fun, Chaotic, and Pretty RoughThe launch version of Palworld had the core experience that made players fall in love with it. You could catch Pals, build bases, automate production, explore dungeons, fight bosses, and run dedicated servers with friends. It also had plenty of Early Access issues. Players dealt with crashes, server instability, save problems, Pal pathing issues, multiplayer bugs, and performance problems. A lot of the first updates focused less on flashy new content and more on making the game stable enough for everyone suddenly trying to play it at the same time. For server owners, this was one of the biggest pain points. Palworld servers were resource-heavy from the start, and memory usage became one of the most common complaints. Pocketpair continued patching dedicated server issues over time, including a v0.5.3 update in April 2025 that fixed a dedicated server memory leak, PS5 autosave issues, and a bug where dedicated server save data could roll back under certain settings.Sakurajima Was the First Big ExpansionThe Sakurajima update was one of Palworld’s first major “come back and see what changed” moments. It added a new island, new Pals, new bosses, new weapons, a higher level cap, new strongholds, and more late-game activities. Steam’s official update listing describes Sakurajima v0.3.1 as adding a new area, Pals, buildings, and more. This update helped Palworld feel less like a launch-week survival sandbox and more like a game with an expanding world. It gave returning players something new to explore instead of only cleaning up old bases and checking on old Pals. For multiplayer servers, Sakurajima also mattered because it gave groups more reasons to restart, expand, or build fresh worlds together.Palworld Expanded to More PlatformsPalworld did not stay locked to its original PC and Xbox audience. Pocketpair later brought the game to PlayStation 5, with its official game news page listing the PS5 version as available in late September and early October 2024.The Mac version also followed later, with Pocketpair listing it as available in March 2025.That platform growth helped Palworld feel less like a one-platform trend and more like a long-term game Pocketpair was actively building around.Feybreak Added Another Major IslandFeybreak was the next major content jump. Pocketpair released the Feybreak update on December 23, 2024, and the Steam update listing describes it as adding a new island, Pals, features, and more.Feybreak continued the same pattern that Sakurajima started: more land to explore, more Pals to collect, more late-game goals, and more reasons to rebuild or return. It also included an early taste of the Terraria collaboration through Meowmere, which was added before the larger Terraria crossover content arrived later. At this point, Palworld was no longer just the launch map with bug fixes. It had multiple major content drops behind it.Crossplay Changed Multiplayer in a Big WayOne of the biggest quality-of-life changes since launch was crossplay. Pocketpair announced the Crossplay Update on March 19, 2025, saying players could now play with friends across various platforms. That is a big deal for survival games. Palworld is at its best when players can build, explore, and cause problems together. Crossplay made it much easier for friend groups to return without worrying as much about who owned the game on which platform. For dedicated servers, this also made Palworld more appealing as a long-term multiplayer game.Legal Changes Affected Core MechanicsNot every change since launch has been purely additive. Some features were changed because of the ongoing legal dispute involving Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. One of the biggest changes was how player-owned Pals are summoned. The old behavior, where players could throw Pal Spheres to summon Pals, was changed so Pals are summoned near the player instead. Later, gliding was also changed so players use a glider item rather than directly gliding with certain Pals, while those Pals still provide passive support from the inventory. This is one area where returning players may immediately feel a difference. The game still plays like Palworld, but a few launch-era mechanics no longer work exactly the same way.Tides of Terraria Brought the First Major CrossoverIn June 2025, Palworld received its Tides of Terraria update. Pocketpair described it as collaboration content with Terraria, and also added six new languages, bringing Palworld up to 17 supported languages. This update was important because it showed Pocketpair was not just expanding Palworld internally. The studio was also willing to bring in outside collaborations and treat Palworld like a growing platform. For players who had not touched the game since early 2024, Tides of Terraria was one of the clearest signs that Palworld had become much larger than its launch version.Home Sweet Home Added More Quality-of-Life ChangesNear the end of 2025, Pocketpair released the Home Sweet Home update. According to Pocketpair, this update included an ULTRAKILL collaboration along with various quality-of-life changes. This is the kind of update that matters more than it sounds. Palworld’s biggest returning-player problem is not just “what new island did they add?” It is also “how much smoother does the game feel now?”Base management, Pal organization, performance, and general cleanup all matter more the longer a world exists. That is especially true for players coming back to an old save with messy storage, outdated builds, and too many Pals sitting around.Palworld 1.0 Is Now the Big OneThe next major milestone is Palworld 1.0. Pocketpair officially announced that Palworld will leave Early Access and launch version 1.0 on July 10, 2026. The cinematic trailer showed new Pals, new regions, a new threat, and the long-awaited World Tree. That means Palworld is no longer just getting occasional Early Access updates. It is moving toward its full release version, and Pocketpair is positioning 1.0 as a major return point for players who left after launch. The important thing to say carefully: not every rumored 1.0 feature is confirmed. Should Returning Players Start Over? For a lot of players, the biggest question is not just what changed. It is if they should continue an old save or start fresh. If you only played during launch week, starting over may be the better experience. So much has changed that a fresh world gives you a cleaner path through the new systems, islands, progression, and balance changes. If you already have a stacked base, rare Pals, or hundreds of hours in one world, continuing your old save still makes sense. Just expect some cleanup. Your Palbox may be packed, your base layout may be outdated, and some old strategies may not work exactly the same way anymore.ConclusionPalworld has changed a lot since launch. What started as a chaotic Early Access survival game has grown into a much bigger world with new islands, new Pals, raids, crossplay, platform releases, crossover content, server improvements, quality-of-life updates, and a full 1.0 launch coming on July 10, 2026.For returning players, the short answer is simple: Palworld is not the same game you left behind. It still has the same weird charm, but there is a lot more to do now, and 1.0 looks like the biggest reason yet to jump back into Palpagos.

Learn what's coming in the 7 Days to Die v3.0 Dead Hot Summer update, including sandbox customization, official game modes, new items, fresh POIs, and quality-of-life improvements.

The wasteland is heating up in 7 Days to Die, and the upcoming v3.0 Dead Hot Summer update is bringing a lot more than a seasonal name. This update is built around one big idea: letting players shape the apocalypse their own way.During the recent dev stream, the biggest focus was not just new content, but control. The team showed off a much deeper sandbox system, new presets, world generation options, and custom settings that could completely change how a save or server feels. For solo players, that means more ways to fine-tune the exact survival experience they want. For server owners, this could be one of the most interesting updates in a while.Dead Hot Summer Adds 150 Sandbox OptionsThe headline feature of v3.0 is the new sandbox customization system. The update introduces 150 sandbox options, giving players control over a huge range of gameplay settings. The settings cover things like:Player damageBlock damageHeadshot multipliersXP gainSkill gainEnemy spawningZombie speedBlood Moon behaviorLoot abundanceCrafting progressionTrader settingsQuest settingsVehicle damageGravityBig headsTiny zombiesSilly soundsSo yes, this update can be serious, brutal, weird, or completely ridiculous depending on how you set things up. Want a slower, more classic survival experience? You can build that. Want faster zombies, harsher penalties, and constant pressure? You can build that too. Want the apocalypse with less apocalypse? That is apparently on the table too.Official Presets Make Custom Worlds EasierAlongside the custom sandbox options, v3.0 introduces official preset modes. These give players ready-made ways to experience that game without needing to tweak every single setting manually. Some of the new official presets include:Undead Matinee: A vintage movie-inspired mode with slower zombies, more swarms, scarce ammo, and a new headshot finisher setting.Madmole’s Mayhem: Fewer supplies, harsher penalties, and more constant pressure.Almost Creative Mode: The apocalypse, but without most of the actual apocalypse problems.Bite Club: A hardcore perma-death mode where one life is all you get.Legacy Survival: An old-school survival setup with modern consequences.7 Days Later: A modern movie-inspired mode with chaotic hordes of fast-moving zombies.Caveman’s Life: Survival where tools peaked at sticks.Dumpster Diver: Trash becomes treasure.Dying World: Resources are fading fast.Disaster Film: Catastrophes stack up quickly.Chibi Mode: Cute, fast, and probably more dangerous than it sounds.Player-Made Presets Can Be SharedAnother major part of the sandbox system is preset creation. Players can create their own custom setups, name them, and share them with others. This could be a big deal for community servers. Instead of telling players to copy a long list of settings, server owners can build a preset around a specific playstyle and share it more easily. This opens the door for community-made challenges. Someone could create a “no traders, scarce ammo, fast zombies” nightmare preset, while someone else could build a cozy builder-friendly with lower enemy pressure and more generous resources. In short, v3.0 gives players a lot more room to make 7 Days to Die feel like their own version of 7 Days to Die.Item Magnitude Adds More Variety to LootDead Hot Summer introduces a new system called Item Magnitude. This changes how weapons, tools, workstation mods, and other gear can scale. Some looted items can now roll boosted stats, which are highlighted with an orange star and a teal percentage. For example, players might find:A pickaxe with boosted block damageA shotgun with boosted rangeA machete with increased damageA cooking pot with faster cooking timeTools and weapons can still roll random stats, but boosted stats are specifically marked. This should make looting feel a little more exciting, since two similar items may not be equal anymore. V3.0 also adds progressive quality levels to many mods. A Quality 1 mod may give a small bonus, while a Quality 6 version of that same mode can provide a much stronger benefit. The Combine Station Gives Gear More Long-Term ValueThe new Combine Station lets survivors merge attributes from similar items to slowly improve their gear. It also creates another way to repair equipment. This works nicely with the new Magnitude system because players can take useful boosted stats and continue building better gear over time. Traders can also carry Magnitude-enhanced equipment, which gives late-game survivors another reason to keep checking trader inventories. For players who love loot hunting, this should make weapons and tools feel more personal. Finding a good item is not just about replacing what you had. It can become part of a longer upgrade path.Repair and Degradation Can Make Survival More PunishingV3.0 gives players more control over item repair and degradation. Depending on the settings used, the apocalypse can be much more forgiving or much meaner to your gear.Repair options include:No repairRepair kits onlyCombine repairBoth repair kits and combine repairPlayers can enable permanent repair degradation, which reduces an item’s max durability after repairs. Death degradation can also be adjusted, including how much durability items lose when a player dies. This is another setting that could matter a lot for servers. A more casual server may want repairs to stay simple. A hardcore server may want every fight and every death to hurt a little more.New M60 Turret Arrives for Late-Game HordesTo help survivors deal with late-game threats, v3.0 adds a new M60 turret. It uses all 7.62 ammo types and should be a welcome addition for players dealing with bigger, nastier hordes. Because nothing says “summer” like relaxing behind a turret while zombies try to remove your front wall.Sign-Tech Brings More Life to the WastelandThe world itself is getting a visual upgrade through the new Sign-Tech system. This system adds thousands of signs to points of interest across the game. Towns, shops, compounds, businesses, and ruins should now feel more readable and lived-in. The update also gives POI creators access to Sign-Tech tools through the level design editor at launch.Sign-Tech includes options for:Canvas and decal signsCustom textShapes and noiseRGBA color pickingLayer maskingLayer warpingThis may sound small at first, but environmental signage can do a lot for immersion. A better looking wasteland is still a wasteland, but at least now it has clearer branding before everything tries to eat you.60+ New POIs Are Being AddedDead Hot Summer adds over 60 new POIs, giving players more places to explore, loot, and probably regret entering. Some listed examples include:Champions ColiseumGrandaddy’s Cable Regional Service CenterIronwood Paper MillBeanthere Coffee CompanyChemTech Distribution CenterWater Treatment PlantCamp Hollow PointGreen HillMcOivey FarmsSprout & Sons NurseryThere are also two new RWG tile variants, creating more spawning opportunities for 100x100 commercial and industrial POIs.For long-running servers, more POIs help freshen up exploration and give players new locations to discover, clear, and build around.A Redesigned Main Menu and Custom CrosshairsV3.0 brings a redesigned main menu with darker post-apocalyptic visuals and improved presentation. The full in-game interface overhaul is still planned for a future update, but the front end is getting a new look now.Players are also getting a customizable crosshair system. The new Crosshair tab in the General Options menu lets survivors adjust:Crosshair scaleOpacityColorDisplay behaviorBeachwear Pack Cosmetic DLCThe update arrives alongside the new Beachwear Pack cosmetic DLC. It adds summer-themed outfits for survivors who want to bring a little vacation energy into the end of the world. The zombies may not appreciate the look, but honestly, that sounds like their problem.Final Thoughts7 Days to Die v3.0 Dead Hot Summer is a major update for players who want more control over their survival experience. The new sandbox options alone are a huge change, especially when combined with official presets, player-made preset sharing, new item systems, repair options, more POIs, and expanded world customization. For server owners, this update could make it much easier to create themed worlds and unique multiplayer experiences. A casual building server, a brutal perma-death server, a chaotic horde server, and a silly tiny-zombie server can all start from the same game, but feel completely different. The apocalypse has always been dangerous. With v3.0, it gets a lot more customizable too.

Meet Dualith, one of the newest Pals coming to Palworld 1.0. Here's everything revealed so far about this unusual Pal.

Pocketpair is still rolling out new Pal reveals ahead of Palworld 1.0, and the latest one is named Dualith. This new Pal has a very different look compared to some of the other reveals we have seen so far. Instead of being tiny and harmless on its own, Dualith looks like a team-up between a little glowing creature and a much larger stone Pal body. The reveal gives us a fun hint at what is going on here. Pocketpair says, “Palpagos can be a scary place for little guys, so it is best to team up with a Pal!” That seems to be exactly what Dualith is doing.Want to see Dualith in action? You can watch the full reveal trailer here: https://x.com/Palworld_EN/status/2067412093091938550 Who is Dualith?Dualith appears to be a two-part Pal, which makes the name feel pretty fitting. The main body is a large, blocky stone figure covered in glowing blue-green markings. Inside the chest is a small glowing creature with a simple worried little face, almost like it is hiding inside the larger body for safety.Based on the announcement post, Dualith may be built around the idea of smaller Pals teaming up to survive the dangers of Palpagos. The little creature gets protection, and the larger stone body gets a tiny buddy along for the ride. Honestly, that feels very Palworld.Pocketpair has not confirmed Dualith’s element, work suitability, drops, spawn location, or combat role yet. For now, all we have is the reveal trailer, but that is enough to give Dualith a pretty memorable first impression.ConclusionDualith is one of the more creative new Pals revealed for Palworld 1.0 so far. The idea of a little creature teaming up with a bigger Pal to survive Palpagos gives it a lot more personality than a simple stone monster would have had.It looks ancient, sturdy, protective, and just a little bit nervous. With Palworld 1.0 launching on July 10th, Dualith is another new Pal worth keeping an eye on. Now we just need to know where to find it, what it can do, and if that tiny glowing buddy is doing most of the emotional labor in there.

Palworld 1.0 introduces another new Pal to catch. Here's everything revealed so far about Puffolt ahead of the game's full release.

Palworld’s march toward 1.0 has brought another new Pal reveal, and this one is tiny, fluffy, and looks mildly furious. Pocketpair has shown off Puffolt, a new Pal coming with Palworld 1.0 on July 10th. The short trailer does not give us a full stat sheet, but it does give us a good look at Puffolt’s design, movement, and electric attack effects. You can check out the official Puffolt reveal video here: https://x.com/Palworld_EN/status/2067049742719180845Who is Puffolt?Puffolt is a small, fluffy, dog-like Pal with yellow fur, blue cheek markings, sharp little teeth, and electric-themed effects. Pocketpair has not confirmed its official element, work suitability, drops, spawn location, or combat role yet. That said, the name Puffolt strongly points toward an Electric-type Pal, especially with the blue sparks shown in the trailer.ConclusionPuffolt is another fun addition to Palworld’s growing 1.0 lineup. With Palworld 1.0 launching on July 10th, players should have plenty of new Pals to discover, catch, and put to work at their base. Puffolt may be tiny, but it already looks like one of the more memorable new faces coming in the update.

From a panda that throws uppercuts to a colossal dragon ruling the Sky Islands, Palworld 1.0 is bringing some of the most ambitious Pals the game has seen so far.

Palworld’s long-awaited 1.0 launch is finally on the horizon, and Pocketpair used the game’s cinematic release date trailer to give players their first look at several brand new Pals arriving alongside the massive update on July 10th. The trailer offered only brief glimpses of many of these creatures, but there is already plenty for fans to analyze.According to Pocketpair, version 1.0 will introduce more new Pals than any previous update in the game’s history, making it one of the largest roster expansions since Palworld entered Early Access. While most of the newcomers remain unnamed for now, the trailer showcased a wide variety of designs ranging from adorable companions to massive creatures that appear capable of taking on legendary boss encounters. The Bamboo Warrior PalOne of the first new creatures shown in the Palworld 1.0 trailer is a panda inspired Pal that appears ready to throw hands. During one of the trailer’s combat sequences, this new Pal is shown launching a powerful uppercut that sends the much larger opponent reeling backward. It’s a brief moment, but it immediately establishes this newcomer as a serious combatant rather than a simple utility Pal.The Armored Firewing PalOne of the most intimidating creatures shown in the trailer is a massive winged Pal that appears to combine insect-like features with heavy armor plating. During its brief appearance, the creature unleashes a fiery attack directly from its wings, suggesting it could be a powerful Fire-type or possibly a Fire/Dark hybrid. Its design stands out from many existing flying Pals thanks to its metallic appearance and glowing orange markings spread across its enormous wings. The creature’s aggressive stance and apparent ranged attacks hint that it could become a strong combat-focused Pal rather than a utility or base worker. The Sky DragonPerhaps the most imposing creature shown during the trailer is a colossal dragon-like Pal that appears to rule the newly revealed Sky Islands. Towering above the landscape and surrounded by crackling lightning, the creature is presented as one of the central threats players will encounter during the update’s new content.Unlike many of the other new Pals shown throughout the trailer, the Sky Dragon receives significant screen time and is featured directly fighting the player. This strongly suggests it will play a major role in the new storyline surrounding the Sky Islands and the World Tree. The Living Sword (Fish) PalOne of the most eye-catching reveals appears to be a Pal capable of transforming into a sword. While Pocketpair has not revealed its name of abilities, the trailer briefly showed the creature becoming a weapon during combat. If the final implementation works as shown, this could introduce one of the most unique Partner Skills in the game and further expand the ways players interact with their Pals during battles. The World Tree GuardianThe trailer also featured a massive airborne creature soaring above the landscape. Its mythic appearance suggests it could be tied to the World Tree storyline that has been teased since Palworld’s original launch.Whether this creature is a catchable Pal, a raid boss, or a story encounter remains unknown, but it was easily one of the most impressive reveals in the trailer.Final ThoughtsIf the trailer is any indication, Palworld 1.0 is shaping up to be the game’s biggest update yet. Between the promise of more new Pals than any previous update, entirely new regions, and long-awaited story developments surrounding the World Tree, players will have plenty of reasons to return to Palpagos on July 10th.Pocketpair is still keeping many of the new creatures under wraps, but the few shown so far already suggest that Palworld’s roster is about to get a lot bigger.
